From art direction to illustration, I worked with Clever Creative
to create a book that celebrates the art of brewing, dawn to dusk.
We captured the artisanal vibe of both brands and brought
Tastemade’s digital content into the hands (and kitchens) of a
coffee-loving audience.

I enjoy working with startups or small businesses who want to take the next big step in meeting their goals by investing in the look and feel of their brand. Although logos are highlighted here, I collaborate with clients to a cohesive look which can include color palettes, stationery, illustrations, and custom graphics. My illustration has come in handy for a variety of projects, including infographics, product design, and even a web-comic I wrote called “Rad-o-Zine.” I love bringing whimsy and movement to my work.
Instagram FeedYelp for gyms and fitness professionals. The creators wanted an app with a simple, clean UI that appealed to a female audience. After many different brand direction considerations and iterations, we decided on this palette and style.
Mood Feed is an app meant to bring intimacy and simplicity back to social media by allowing users to keep a log of their daily emotions and share it with their friends. In this concept project, I explored UI patterns I’d never seen before, and meditated on the ways that technology can sometimes muddy our communication.

Troy Camp is an organization near and dear to my heart. Having grown
up in the neighborhood surroudning USC, I was one of the campers that
benefited from their work. When I attended USC, I combined my passion
for design with my passion for Troy Camp and became a counselor.
In 2014, I led a diverse team of 8 Troy Camp counselors on a year-long
re-branding project, teaching them about identity and design along
the way.
An on-campus theatre group needed a new logo and a marketing manager. Enter Schessa stage left. In our brand workshop, the director described their company as “the Zooey Deschanel of theatre groups.”
Venture City helps users discover the hottest spots for nightlife in their area. They felt that their UI wasn’t as sleek as the rest of their brand, and asked me to come on board to give them a facelift.
